Freezers and Low-temp Chillers

Your Innovative Technology glovebox can be equipped with an integrated cold storage freezer or low-temp chiller.

The freezer is especially useful if you are:

• Working with thermal air-sensitive compounds
• Growing crystals for analysis by X-ray crystallography
• Working with biological samples that need to be maintained at low temperatures
• Preserving samples for later analysis

Two freezer models are available: one that operates down to -35°C and one that operates down to -78°C. Both have variable temperature controls and can include a lock or magnetic door seal. They have a large inner volume and include removable and adjustable storage shelves. The freezers can be cylindrical or rectangular, and typically attach to the end panel of your glovebox.

Low-temp chillers allow you to comfortably work with substances that need to be at temperatures below room temperature. Chillers also remove excess heat from the glovebox when you are working with materials that generate heat.
