Gas Purifiers

A gas purifier's primary role is to quickly remove oxygen and moisture from process gas (nitrogen, argon, or helium), thus helping to maintain environmental control and creating an ultra-pure inert gas environment within the glovebox. Because gas purifiers purify and dry the environment, glovebox can use less inert gas and desiccant and you can safely work with highly reactive materials in the resulting inert environment.

Gas purifiers can also recirculate gases in an inert glovebox and provide supplementary gas purification of an in-house gas supply.

A gas purifier system allows you to retrofit an old glovebox with a new control system. A gas purifier system from Innovative Technology can be used with any high integrity glovebox, so you can upgrade or modernize your existing glove box or purchase a used glovebox.

Innovative Technology offers two gas purifier systems:

• The single-column GP1 system
• The double-column GP2 system

Both gas purifiers are free standing, which means you can locate them almost anywhere near the glove box. The gas purifiers can take the oxygen and moisture levels of your glovebox atmosphere down to one PPM, and can also include an automatic regeneration system.
