Vacuum ovens and furnaces can be essential accessories for your glovebox.

Vacuum Ovens

Everything you transfer into a glovebox needs to be dry. Vacuum ovens are used primarily to remove moisture from transfer items before they enter the glovebox. Some items that release a large amount of water, such as paper, silica gel, cork, or glass-wool, may even need to be left in the vacuum oven overnight.

Vacuum ovens can also be used for annealing and for curing materials both during and after the process operation.

Ovens can also include internal trays and slides.

Furnaces

Certain processes also require the heat that can be provided by a glovebox furnace. For example, you may need a furnace to melt semiconductor crystals or to facilitate hot rolling of fuel plates. Innovative Technology furnaces consist of radiant heaters internally mounted with stainless steel reflectors. An insulating blanket helps maintain thermal control.
