What is the difference between a Glovebox and an Isolator?

A Glovebox is a positive pressure environment that allows you to process research or manufacture in an inert atmosphere, usually Nitrogen, Argon, or Helium.
An Isolator is usually a negative pressure environment used to prevent contamination.

How often do I have to regenerate a Glovebox?

Every 6 months on average.

How long does regeneration take?

12 hours; however, you can adjust the times to suit your process.

How long does it take to evacuate an antechamber?

The large chamber 4-5 minutes, and the Rapid Transfer 30 seconds.

How long does it take to purge a glovebox at start up?

A single box is approximately 30 cu ft. This usually takes an hour.

Does Innovative Technology install the product?

Yes, however it is also possible to install our products yourself, with the correct advice.

Does Innovative Technology provide field service?

Yes, we will service all makes of gloveboxes. We update the controls and the gas purification to our microprocessor.
